I am a French director of photography. I work on fictional formats, TV series, and feature films, as well as music videos, commercials, and fashion shows. I shot the successful TV series SKAM FRANCE seen more than 250 million times on the internet as well as the TV series MENTAL which won the prize for the best French TV series 26 min at the Festival Fiction Tv of la Rochelle in September 2019. I've shot the TV series "Germinal". Recently I've shot the feature film "Marinette" directed by Virginie Verrier as well as episodes 3&4 of the TV series "Mrs. Davis" directed by Alethea Jones, written by Damon Lindelof and produced by Warner Bros Studio.

Très jeune, Étienne Fu-Le Saulnier se passionne pour la peinture, ce qui l'amène à étudier aux Beaux-Arts où il se spécialise dans la photographie argentique. Poursuivant dans cette voie, il intègre une école de cinéma et travaille comme assistant caméra sur les films de Volker Schlöndorff, Agnieszka Holland, Agnès Jaoui, Rémi Bezançon, Mehdi Idir & Grand Corps Malade.... Désormais directeur de la photographie, il signe l’image de nombreux courts-métrages. Il aime accompagner les réalisateurs·rices dans leurs différents univers et passe aisément du film social (Être Angela de Tim Aspert) au film de genre (Flush de Raphaël Treiner). Son premier long-métrage, "Bizarre Again", réalisé par Étienne Faure, est un road trip à travers les États-Unis, de l'Utah à la Californie. En 2023, il est lauréat du label Chef·fe op' récompensant les talents de la la maison du film.
